Custom t-shirt has become to a mainstream for wearing t-shirt. No, not really, but T-shirts with a sickness theme (not a sick theme, that would be the Michael Jackson Rest In Pieces Tee that we are not reviewing, just giggling over).
The designer here is Rob Barber and you can get the T-shirt in lemon or black. The black is nice, but I think it lacks the subtlety of the yellow, and subtle is good sometimes. What I really like is the way it’s right-justified – altho I couldn’t tell you why this is so appealing if my life depended on it – it just is!
Flicking through the rest of the range, they have some fairly standard designs mixed with very cool work indeed: Tiger Heart looks like something you’d find in a zoo souvenir shop, while Scarf is stand out – one of the best tees I’ve seen this year, Cloud Cover is great and at a bargain basement price, while More Gore is just, as Mikey has taken to saying, ‘meh’.
Still and all, a very good range, something for everyone and excellent pricing.
If you have a t-shirt printer, you can do your own t-shirt printing. For most of the time, for t-shirt printing we always choose screen printing technology. T-shirt screen printing technology is most prevalent used.
Today has been blistering hot, so I knew that if I got down by the sea, I would find some pretty damn good T-shirts being worn. And whatever anybody else says, I didn’t just want an excuse to get out of the office on the hottest day of the year. Dedicated to my work, that’s what I am.
First up, and definitely foremost in the style parade, was this chap wearing a Vivienne Westwood T-shirt. It takes a certain amount of something which could be chutzpah, or maybe money, or even devotion to the cause of fashion to strut the seafront in a bunch of roses if you’re a bloke, but this one pulled it off in style, possibly because he has muscles like a very muscly thing! He also had an empty pushchair – did you reckon he got a bit peckish and ate the baby?
Anyway, he was a diamond to take part in ‘worn on the street’ and I am not just saying that cos I’m likely to bump into him again. Excellent design this one, and there’s an equally good orange tree T-shirt in the autumn/winter collection online.
